One day out of the blue; I asked a customer of mine in Sibu;

Why do you wear these chinese characters? 

What's with the fascination over characters which are not even of your own surname?

Sensing I'm a little bit crazy or just plain curious, she replied, "Because I believe wearing other characters will bring me luck"
